What is Backache?
Back pain or backache is a common problem among a lot of people, not just the elderly and middle-aged people but also young people who work for long hours coupled with their busy lifestyle. The back bears most of the body weight and this problem is more pronounced among people who are overweight because in their case, they have to carry the extra load of their excess weight.

Mixture of five black pepper corns, five cloves and one- gram dry ginger powder in your tea at least twice a day.

A small piece of Chebulic Myrobalan (kaDukkaay) to be eaten after meal.

Two or three cloves should be taken every morning. Any of the oil which are used as rubefacients, such as mustard oil, sesame oil and coconut oil can be used, according to one's choice. To be fried on a slow flame till they are brown. After the oil has cooled, it should be applied vigorously on the back and allowed to remain there for three hours. Continue for 15 days .

The juice of one lemon should be mixed with common salt and to be taken twice daily.

Apply a raw potato when pain in the lower part of the back.

Boil ten tulsi leaves in one cup of water until the syrup is reduced to half a cup. Add a salt to it after cooling. For Sever backache take it twice a day.
