Indigestion


What is Indigestion?

A disorder of digestive function characterized by discomfort or heartburn or nausea


Common Causes of Indigestion:
  • Poor Liver Function.  
  • Excessive Alcohol Consumption 

Home Remedies for Indigestion:
Tip 1: 
Take a pinch of asafoaetida (hing) powder and add some boiled rice in it. Mix well and eat this on regular basis or dissolve the hing powder in a cup of buttermilk. Mix and drink this to aid digestion.

Tip 2:  
Take some cured betel nuts and  mix them with cardomon or poppy seeds. Chew them well. You can 
chew them after having meal.

Tip 3:
Take some seeds of coriander and add dry ginger in it. You can have this decoction minimun 3 times a day.

Tip 4:  
Take some fennel seeds and chew them well. It will work as a good mouth freshener and also help to digest food well.

Tip 5:  
Take 2-3 ginger pieces and add a pinch of salt in it. Now eat this. It will prevent indigestion if intake at regular intervals.

Tip 6:  
You can eat about 8-10 pieces of jamun daily two times a day. It is a wonderful fruit which is helpful in digestion the food properly.
